Key concepts from Chapter 7 are:
- Vectors as forces
- Dot product of geometric and algebraic vectors
- Scalar and vector projections
- Cross product
- Applications of the dot and cross product
#'s 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 12, 14, 15, 18, 20, 23, 24, 25, 27, 30 and 34
Now start studying!!!
I am now on the computer (making up your unit test) and will check back every so often in case anyone has last minute questions that they need help with.
ReplyDeleteMr.Adlam, how do you so question 34 on pg 421 and can we no have a question like this on the test? :)
ReplyDeleteI got a positive 5 rather than a -5
ReplyDeleteChristina,
ReplyDeleteI am getting -5.
Somewhere in your solution you should get:
m + cos(60) - 3m(cos60) - 3 = 0
Since cos(60) = 1/2 you end up with:
m + 1/2 - 3/2(m) - 3 = 0
Solving for m gives a result of -5.
What makes this question easy is the fact that once again 'a' and 'b' are unit vectors so their magnitude is 1.
ohhh i made an error, thank you sir
